Tinco Earrings - Silver

These silver "Tinco earrings" are inspired by a stunning gold Celtic coin found by my grandfather whilst out with his metal detector. I carefully took an impression of the coin, and then used the impression to create a wax original that was then cast in metal and moulded. Not only did the wax pick up the beautiful shapes of the original coin, but it also imparted my own fingerprints, adding an extra layer of texture and story.
These earring are solid sterling silver and weigh approximately 5.4 grams per earring. As with all my jewellery, you may find traces fingerprints and toolmarks - This is a conscious decision and adds heaps of character to each piece!
